Kelly Clarkson, an American actor, singer and songwriter who took home the American Idol competition in its first season, became America's Sweetheart. It brought her to notoriety and led to a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings, as well as 'S Records. Since her debut, she released numerous albums.
