Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born in Ogden Utah on September 15 1915. Fawn MacKay, born into the Mormon Church's founding family, utilised her amazing abilities as a writer and her formidable research skills in order to write the psycho-historical biographies of Joseph Smith. The book, No Man has a clue about My History was published in 1945. The name was taken from the title of a sermon delivered by Joseph Smith in 1844. He amazed his audience by stating: "You are not my friend and you have never heard my thoughts. My history is unknown to anybody. I can't tell. Fawn (29 year old) wrote that after her confessional moment the three hundred and thirty writers have stood up to the occasion. A few people have even made an attempt to create a diagnostic diagnosis. The documents aren't insufficient however they do have a lot of contradictions. The task of assembling these documents--of sifting first-hand account from third-hand plagiarism of fitting Mormon as well as non-Mormon stories into a masterpiece that creates plausible history. The task is interesting and instructive. Such was the task to which Fawn Brodie devoted herself professionally. Her research and writings earned her fame all over the world: Thaddeus Stephens. The Devil Drives (1959) Scourge Of The South Thomas Jefferson. A Personal History of Richard Nixon (1974) as and posthumously Richard Nixon.
