Fawn Mckay

Fawn McKay was born on 15 September 1915 in Ogden Utah. Reared in the Mormon Church's original family Fawn McKay was able to direct her innovative writing talents as well as her remarkable abilities in research to create the brilliant psycho-historical biography of Joseph Smith, published in 1945. The book was titled The Only Man knows My History. This title comes from a 1844 funeral sermon preached by the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. No one has ever heard of my life. Truth is I'm not even sure. Fawn (29 years old) wrote that after her confessional moment Three hundred writers have responded to the occasion. A lot of people have detested him while others have glorified. A few have even made the diagnosis. It's not that documents aren't there, it's that they're so inconsistent. The process of assembling these documents, sorting through third- and first-hand sources, and integrating the Mormons' stories to those of other people's history - is challenging.
